Pegasos horses are trained according to the principles of the special training method “natural horsemanship”. As the name suggests, this method uses an absolutely natural approach to horses and training and, as a result, has a high level of trust, respect and partnership between rider and horse. Natural horsemanship trainers are often referred to as “horse whisperers”, meaning non-verbal, invisible communication between trainers and horses. Every horse rider can apply the principles on which natural horsemanship is based and thus benefit in relation to their horse.

Our trainers have studied and worked for years under the mentorship of American Natural Horsemanship maestro Sam Brown and have forever rejected the conventional approach to training. Today, they independently implement this method with Pegasos horses who, to the joy and pride of all of us, over time take on all the characteristics of a truly happy human partner.

Natural horsemanship is a method that suits every horse but definitely not every rider. So keep in mind that if you like to give orders, get things “right now”, have limited patience, are short of time, are looking for instant results, or prefer to speak rather than listen…do not experiment with this method. Choose one of the traditional ways used by other riders around the world.
