Horse training

Horse training

Horse training at Pegasos is based on the principles of natural horsemanship, a method that focuses on understanding the horse, its behavior, and the way it communicates. Through this approach, we build a relationship based on trust, respect, and clear communication, where the horse is not forced, but guided to understand and accept the work.

Our goal is not just a trained horse, but a stable and reliable partner that understands the rider and responds confidently in different situations.

What we offer

Each training program is tailored individually, depending on the needs of the horse and the owner. This may include:

  • starting young horses under saddle
  • behavior correction and training
  • socialization and work with sensitive or challenging horses
  • preparation for further training or sport

Every horse goes through a gradual and structured process, adapted to its temperament and level of experience.

Our trainers have spent years learning and working under the mentorship of American natural horsemanship expert Sam Brown. Through this experience, they developed an approach that is now independently applied in the daily work with horses at Pegasos. The result is horses that are confident, balanced, and willing to cooperate, whether in recreational or sport environments.

Natural horsemanship is an approach that delivers long-term results, but it requires time, patience, and consistency. It is not focused on quick or instant changes, but on building a lasting relationship and understanding between horse and rider. For this reason, it is best suited for owners who are ready to invest time and commit to the process.

If you have a question, need guidance, or would like to include your horse in our training program, feel free to contact us. We will assess your situation and suggest the most suitable approach.
